Everything changed when I discovered play-based therapy. I took formal training and began using play as a bridge, not just a tool. Slowly, my sessions turned into moments of connection — kids started responding, laughing, engaging. Therapy became joyful, not just clinical.
Even as progress began, generalisation remained a challenge. The flashcards looked foreign. The materials didn’t reflect our language, homes, or traditions. That’s when I knew — we needed resources made for our children. That’s how Bee Expressable came to life.

During the peak of the pandemic, therapy shifted online — and so did the struggle. As a speech-language pathologist, I noticed how parents and therapists were scrambling for quality, engaging, and culturally relevant materials. I began creating my own, designed specifically for Pakistani children, using evidence-based methods and simple home tools.
The materials I created started gaining attention. Fellow professionals began requesting copies, and parents found them incredibly helpful during home practice. I started packaging these resources — flashcards, visual schedules, early vocabulary booklets — and selling them to a small community of therapists and families.
With increasing demand, I partnered with professionals in ABA, child psychology, and occupational therapy to develop more well-rounded content. We began crafting resources that supported not just speech, but also behavior, sensory needs, and learning skills — all rooted in play. Play-based therapy, once rare in Pakistan, became our signature approach.
What started as a passion project transformed into Bee Expressable — Pakistan’s first-ever dedicated e-shop for therapy resources created by certified professionals. Our mission became clear: make evidence-based, culturally aware therapy tools accessible to every child, parent, and therapist across the country.
